Agree or disagree: God and religion are like security blankets for people who NEED a way to explain the world?

I agree. There are so many things in this universe that are hard to wrap the mind around, and it causes fewer headaches just to say, "goddidit." This is, of course, why man invented gods...to explain the sun moving across the sky, eclipses, and what happens after death.
