Why is Obama executing kill/capture policies in Afghanistan?

Do liberals think it's more humane to kill a suspected member of the Taliban without giving them a chance to speak, verifying their ID or, having the benefit of trial than it is to use 'enhanced interrogations' of suspected terrorists at Gitmo? Are they convinced that any cases of collateral damage or, mistaken identity are permissible bc we're only talking about the taking of innocent Afghan lives as an aside? Do they believe that suspected members of the Taliban working within Afghanistan automatically forfeit the right to live, while jihadists who are suspected of involvement in attacks against our country retain rights equal to our own? Is it their belief that as long as we don't admit we have an individual in custody, we can kill them at will, but the moment we confirm them to be in our custody, they become human?
