What type of dog shampoo should I use?

The dog shampoo I'm using smells nice but my dog doesn't like the smell I guess. So whenever I take her out she finds the stinkiest thing she could find and rolls around it. which makes the bath pointless. i read somewhere that dog shampoo contain chemicals that my dog may not like. so is there a shampoo that wont make my dog want to roll around in stinky crap.
